Abstract

This research analyzes the principles and role of a shepherd in managing conflicts based on the exposition of 2 Timothy 3:1-12 in the Bible. Conflict constitutes a complex reality in the lives of individuals and communities, including within the church context. The aim of this study is to identify the principles elucidated within the text concerning conflict resolution and to comprehend the role of a shepherd in conflict management within the church community. The method of textual analysis is employed to explore the context and moral teachings embedded in the 2 Timothy 3:1-12 passage. The research findings indicate that the shepherd's role in conflict management encompasses functions as an educator, counselor, and spiritual leader, thereby fostering the cultivation of a peaceful congregation's character.
