Makna Kristologis dalam Surat Filemon

Abstract

Christological doctrine is central to the teaching of New Testament theology. Some New Testament scholars suspect that the New Testament writings place more emphasis on Christological teachings. This can be seen from several researches and interpretations related to perspectives on the New Testament writings. Philemon's letter is a personal letter written by Paul in order to resolve interpersonal conflicts. This research looks at the Christological aspect of Philemon's letter. The theological approach through exposition of Greek texts is the established way of finding the Christological meaning of Philemon's letter. As a result, the resolution of the conflict in Philemon's letter can be interpreted theologically as that human relationship with God is restored through Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
